Job Description
A well‑established fuel and lubricant operation in the Oxford, MS area is seeking a hands‑on Plant & Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a small team, and ensure safe, efficient product handling. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of physical work, team leadership, customer interaction, sales, and administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily plant and warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing bulk fuel and lubricants
- Oversee inventory accuracy, product rotation, and documentation
- Lead and supervise employees, including scheduling, training, and performance support
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant facility
- Assist customers with orders, product questions, and service needs
- Support sales efforts by identifying customer opportunities and recommending products
- Use computer systems for order entry, inventory updates, and reporting
- Perform physical tasks as needed, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and climbing ladders
Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse, industrial, or fuel/lubricant operations preferred
- Proven leadership or management experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and safely perform physical tasks
- Ability to climb ladders and work at various heights
- Strong customer service and sales aptitude
- Basic computer skills (email, order entry, inventory systems)
- Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus but not required
