Job Summary:
Virginia Landscape Group is seeking dependable and hardworking Full-Time Landscape Construction Laborers to join our installation team. This role focuses on landscape construction projects, including hardscape and landscape installs for residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with landscape construction and installation projects.
- Install plants, trees, shrubs, sod, and landscape materials.
- Assist with hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and grading.
- Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment (training provided).
- Perform site preparation, excavation, backfilling, and clean-up.
- Follow all safety procedures and job site standards.
- Work closely with crew leaders to complete projects efficiently and to quality standards.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to the shop or job sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscape construction, hardscaping, or construction labor.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, or skid steer / mini-excavator (a plus).
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
