Position Overview

Interstate Roof is seeking experienced full-cycle sales closers who can independently generate leads, inspect roofs, close deals, and manage projects through completion.

This is a high-performance, commission-only role designed for individuals who are confident in the field, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and capable of handling the full sales process from start to finish.

The ideal candidate is financially disciplined, physically capable, and experienced in commission-based sales environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and self-source leads through door-to-door outreach, referrals, and networking
  • Conduct roof inspections and identify damage or replacement needs
  • Educate homeowners on roofing systems, materials, and solutions
  • Guide customers through insurance claims when applicable
  • Present proposals and close residential roofing projects
  • Manage projects from sale through completion, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Maintain consistent communication with homeowners and internal teams
  • Track pipeline activity and customer interactions

What We're Looking For

  • Proven sales experience (roofing, construction, or similar industries preferred)
  • Strong closing ability with experience in full-cycle sales roles
  • Comfortable with door-to-door prospecting and self-generated leads
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, commission-only environment
  • Physically capable of climbing roofs and performing inspections
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Financial stability to manage delayed commission payouts

Key Requirements (Important)

  • 1099 Independent Contractor (Commission-Only)
  • Commission payouts are typically delayed approximately 3 months due to project timelines
  • Candidates must be financially prepared to operate without immediate income during ramp-up
