Our building proudly achieves:~5-Star facility based on CMS Overall AND Quality ratings~4.3 Google Star RatingOur exceptional full-time benefits include:~$6,000 sign-on bonus for full-time or monthly student loan repayment benefits, 30 or more work hours a week is considered full-time and eligible for benefits.~ Medical, dental & vision healthcare insurance options with generous employer contributions towards individual and dependent monthly premiums~Flexible work schedule~12-week mentorship programs available--new grads welcome!The PT - Physical Therapist provides direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy, BSPT, MSPT, or DPT (2003 or later must have MSPT or DPT)Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriateProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mailKnowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facilityImplement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the departmentPerform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, and safety and sanitationMaintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential informationUnderstand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance proceduresDisplays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance trainingFollow physical therapy treatment plans for patientsOversee and evaluate care given by PTAs, Rehab Aides, and PT and PTA studentsUtilize therapy software appropriately and accuratelyExhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patientsRead, write, speak, and understand the English language
