Accountabilities
- Lead and manage a team to build well-architected web and mobile apps.
- Guide team through research, design, implementation, and delivery.
- Influence technical direction for cross-functional teams.
- Write code samples and prototypes to support implementation.
- Promote modern technical standards and best practices.
- Encourage quality code and effective communication within the team.
- Maintain communication with local and remote partners on project statuses.
- Support team members' performance with feedback and development goals.
- Hire and train new engineering talent.
- Collaborate with designers and business leaders to enhance user experiences.
- Engage with customers to refine workflows and address challenges.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in web application development.
- 3+ years of experience managing technical teams.
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (Vue, React).
- Experience with backend services using Java, Python, or Node.
- Familiarity with AI tools for improving code quality.
- Strong track record in designing and developing scalable applications.
- Knowledge of web development best practices.
- Bonus: Experience with scalable content management systems.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and static code analysis tools.
- Experience managing AWS deployments and services.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cooperatively.
