Job Description

Full-Time Occupational Therapist – Rio Rancho, NM

Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, permanent position with one of our valued clients in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact in a supportive, patient-centered environment while enjoying all that this beautiful region has to offer.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans

  • Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence

  • Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary

  • Educate patients and their families on exercises and home care programs

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members

  • Promote a safe and supportive environment for patient recovery

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

  • Active New Mexico OT license (or eligibility to obtain)

  • NBCOT certification required

  • CPR/BLS certification

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in clinical settings preferred but open to new grads with strong clinical rotations
