Job RequirementsEducation Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a surgical technician program is preferred.

Certifications Requirements:

• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
• Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is preferred but not required.

Experience Requirements:

• 2-3 years of surgical tech experience in a hospital setting.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform clinical tasks.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with surgical team members to set up and prepare operating rooms for procedures.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and surgical logs.
• Maintain sterile environments and monitor equipment functionality throughout surgeries.
• Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures, passing instruments and supplies as needed.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are properly cleaned, sterilized, and stocked for upcoming procedures.
