Job Description
We are seeking an entry-level accountant to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, Quickbooks data entry, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, purchasing, job advertising and other daily tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and grow their career in accounting and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely and accurate payment
- Create and send customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments
- Perform daily deposit reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and analysis
- Collaborate with other team members on special projects as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior accounting internship or related work experience
- Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks
