This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist seeking career advancement in a dynamic cardiac catheterization laboratory environment. If you are ARRT-certified or RCIS-certified and passionate about delivering high-quality cardiovascular care, this Cath Lab Tech opportunity in Safford, Arizona offers professional growth, stability, and an outstanding quality of life.Position Overview Cath Lab Tech The Cath Lab Technologist assists physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced clinical setting.Cath Lab Tech Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures*
- Prepare and maintain sterile field and procedural equipment*
- Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment in accordance with safety standards*
- Monitor and document patient hemodynamics during procedures*
- Ensure proper patient identification and positioning*
- Maintain radiation safety practices and adhere to ALARA principles*
- Assist with emergency procedures as needed*
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record*
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives*
- Support inventory management and equipment maintenance
- Graduate of an accredited school or training program required*
- Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required*
- Current BLS and ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or approved equivalent required*
- Minimum of one (1) year of Cath Lab or related cardiovascular experience required*
- Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and providers*
- Working knowledge of computer systems, process design, and data management
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification*
- Three (3) years of Cath Lab experience*
- Previous Meditech or related electronic medical record experience
- Outdoor recreation and hiking in Mount Graham
