Job Description
Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) North of Spearfish, SD Connected Health Care is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time permanent position with one of our valued healthcare partners in Spearfish, South Dakota. This is a great opportunity for COTAs looking to grow in their career while serving a welcoming rural community.Job Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to deliver individualized treatment plans*
- Assist patients in improving mobility, independence, and daily living activities*
- Monitor patient progress and document therapeutic outcomes*
- Educate patients and families on exercises and home treatment programs*
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure high-quality patient care*
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and facility guidelines
- Associates Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program*
- Current South Dakota COTA license or eligibility to obtain*
- NBCOT certification required*
- BLS certification*
- Prior experience in a therapy or rehabilitation setting is preferred, but new grads are welcome
