This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of laboratory quality and compliance.Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Job Responsibilities
- Perform moderate and high-complexity laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and blood bank*
- Analyze, interpret, and report accurate laboratory results in a timely manner*
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment*
- Perform quality control procedures and ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and state regulations*
- Troubleshoot equipment and testing inconsistencies*
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff regarding lab results*
- Maintain proper documentation and laboratory records*
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards
- Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related life science field*
- Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License required*
- ASCP (MLS) Certification preferred*
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience preferred*
- Strong knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS)*
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
