How You'll Be Making A Difference
Under the direction of the Milieu Director, the Residential Supervisor will coordinate work assignments and provide direct childcare. Additionally they will:
- Hire, train, supervise, performance manage and evaluate direct care staff. Mediate staff issues and employee conflicts.
- Host team meetings for staff and provide training and weekly supervision.
- Organize and structure milieu shift.
- Maintain safety of clients in a residence; work closely with Milieu Director to support Program goals.
- Provide milieu therapy, instruct youth on daily living skills and serve as a youth advocate
Qualifications
- Equivalent to two years of college and/or two years child care experience in a residential setting with similar population of children
- BA/BS preferred
- 1+ year supervisory experience and prior experience with emotionally, behaviorally challenged children preferably in a residential treatment program desired
- Must possess a valid Mass Driver's License
