Oaknoll Retirement Residence is looking for a Driver/Dispatcher to join our Transportation team! Driver/Dispatchers at Oaknoll Retirement Residence do more than just assist in coordinating transporting our residents, they help enable our residents to have a strong sense of independence and freedom by allowing them to make plans and take trips they may no longer have the ability or confidence to do themselves. Oaknoll is hiring a full-time Driver/Dispatcher. The Driver/Dispatcher is responsible for not only safely transporting our residents and providing outstanding transportation and support services, but also for coordinating transportation schedules, taking incoming requests for transportation, and dispatching drivers accordingly. They are also responsible for ensuring Oaknoll Transportation vehicles are appropriately cleaned and filled with fuel for use, as well as reporting maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate persons. Typical shifts will be 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, some flexibility required to accommodate driving for special events in the evening and on holidays or weekends.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent degree.
  • Candidates must have a general understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Candidates must hold a valid Iowa driver's license.
  • Candidates must provide a certified driving record before hire.
  • Candidates must have or be willing to get a Class D (Chauffer's) endorsement.
