Full-Time Med-Surg RN Charge Nurse Dothan, AL Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with leadership skills looking for the next step in your career? Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is proud to partner with a respected healthcare facility in Dothan, AL to find a motivated Med-Surg RN Charge Nurse for a full-time position.Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on the Medical-Surgical unit during assigned shifts*
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care*
- Assist in admissions, discharges, and direct patient care as needed*
- Act as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff*
- Monitor staffing levels, manage scheduling needs, and ensure smooth operations*
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all hospital policies and procedures*
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes
- Active RN license in the state of Alabama (or compact license)*
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical unit*
- Previous leadership or charge nurse experience strongly preferred*
- BLS certification required*
- ACLS certification preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months*
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
