If you are an experienced OR RN seeking career advancement in a high-acuity, innovative surgical environment, this opportunity in Stamford, Connecticut is worth exploring.Position Overview Operating Room RN The Operating Room RN will function in the circulating and/or scrub role within the main Operating Room, delivering comprehensive perioperative nursing care using the nursing process and adhering to all state and federal regulations. This position provides exposure to advanced surgical systems and complex procedures, including cardiovascular surgery.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative patient care in circulating and/or scrub capacity*
- Supervise non-RN staff and serve as a clinical resource*
- Act as charge RN/clinical coordinator when assigned*
- Precept new staff and students*
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality standards
- Active Connecticut RN license*
- BSN required*
- Minimum 2 years OR experience preferred*
- CNOR certification highly preferred*
- Cardiovascular OR experience required for CV openings
