Full-Time OR Tech – Grants, NM

Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) for a full-time opportunity with one of our valued healthcare partners in Grants, New Mexico. This is a great opportunity for an experienced OR Tech to join a collaborative surgical team in a welcoming community surrounded by beautiful Southwestern scenery.

Job Description

  • Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment for procedures.*
  • Assist surgeons, nurses, and other surgical staff during procedures.*
  • Maintain sterile technique and follow infection-control standards.*
  • Pass instruments and supplies during surgical procedures.*
  • Assist with patient positioning and preparation.*
  • Perform surgical counts and maintain accurate documentation.*
  • Clean, organize, and restock operating rooms between procedures.*
  • Help ensure efficient OR turnover and a safe surgical environment.*
  • Work collaboratively with the surgical and healthcare team.

Requirements

  • Previous Operating Room Technician / OR Tech experience required.*
  • Hospital or acute-care OR experience strongly preferred.*
  • Orthopedic OR experience highly desirable.
  • OB surgical experience highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation.*
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.*
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Education & Certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.*
  • Surgical technology or OR Tech training preferred.*
  • Surgical technology certification is a plus but is not required.*
  • Relevant OR Tech experience is required.
