Job Description

Full-Time Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) - Near Wichita, KS

Connected Health Care is partnering with a highly respected healthcare facility near Wichita, Kansas to recruit a compassionate and experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN). This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a modern surgical environment with a collaborative and supportive team.

Job Description:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures

  • Assist with patient preparation, including preoperative assessments and post-anesthesia care

  • Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout the perioperative process

  • Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and prepared

  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff

  • Maintain a sterile and safe operating room environment

  • Educate patients and families on surgical expectations and post-op care

  • Complete accurate and timely documentation

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Active RN license in the state of Kansas

  • Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN) required

  • BLS and ACLS certifications required

  • CNOR certification preferred

  • Minimum 1 year of perioperative or OR nursing experience preferred

  • Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal communication skills
