Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) | Rapid City, SD

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a trusted partner facility in Rapid City, SD. Job Description The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide exceptional care to patients. This role requires strong communication skills, clinical knowledge, and a passion for helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities

Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities as prescribed
Monitor patient progress and document treatments accurately
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety techniques
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment

Education and Certification Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current South Dakota PTA license (or eligibility)
CPR certification required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
