Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) | North of Spearfish, SD Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a trusted partner facility in Spearfish, SD. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated PTA to grow professionally while providing high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.Job Description The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide exceptional care to patients. This role requires strong communication skills, clinical knowledge, and a passion for helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans*
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities as prescribed*
- Monitor patient progress and document treatments accurately*
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety techniques*
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care*
- Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current South Dakota PTA license (or eligibility)*
- CPR certification required*
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Outdoor Activities: Hike the breathtaking Spearfish Canyon, fish or kayak in Spearfish Creek, or ski at Terry Peak Ski Area in the winter.*
