Full-Time Physical Therapist Job in Salt Lake City, UT

Physical Therapist Job Description
- Evaluate patients through comprehensive physical therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide skilled physical therapy services based on patient needs, diagnoses, functional limitations, and established goals.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, functional training, and other appropriate treatment techniques.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
- Educate patients and families on exercises, mobility strategies, injury prevention, home exercise programs, and long-term wellness.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, support staff, and other members of the healthcare team to promote coordinated patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans, progress, and expected outcomes.
- Promote patient safety and follow applicable clinical, ethical, and professional standards.
- Participate in a positive, patient-centered work environment focused on quality outcomes and exceptional service.
- Maintain professional knowledge and clinical skills through continuing education and ongoing professional development.
Education Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
- Graduation from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program preferred.
- Relevant clinical education and hands-on experience through an accredited physical therapy program.
Certification and Licensure Requirements
- Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the State of Utah.
- Ability to maintain an active, unrestricted professional license throughout employment.
- Current CPR/BLS certification, or ability to obtain certification as required by the employer.
- Additional certifications or specialty training relevant to the position are a plus.
