This role requires strong technical skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to work flexible hours including overtime, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders*
• Operate imaging equipment and digital PACS software*
• Ensure accurate patient identification and proper positioning*
• Follow ALARA radiation safety principles, including Image Wisely and Image Gently guidelines*
• Prepare and administer contrast procedures as required*
• Maintain imaging quality assurance standards*
• Monitor and maintain department inventory and supplies*
• Support workflow and assist in the absence of a supervisor*
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and continuing education*
• Serve as a resource and preceptor for students*
• Assist as Clinical Coordinator when needed

Education & Certification Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program required*
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required*
• Active Connecticut State Radiology license required*
• Strong knowledge of radiographic examinations, contrast studies, radiation safety, and patient positioning*
• Ability to work flexible hours including overtime and call
