If you are looking to grow your career in a dynamic interventional setting while enjoying the incredible lifestyle offered in Southern Californias Coachella Valley, we encourage you to apply today.Position Overview The Radiologic Technologist Interventional / Cardiac Cath Lab plays a critical role in assisting cardiologists and interventional physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced procedural environment.Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures*
- Scrub and circulate during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac and vascular procedures*
- Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images*
- Prepare sterile fields, instruments, and supplies for procedures*
- Monitor patient status and maintain patient safety throughout procedures*
- Ensure proper radiation safety protocols are followed for staff and patients*
- Accurately document procedures, imaging data, and patient information*
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and cath lab staff to maintain efficient workflow*
- Participate in equipment quality assurance and maintenance protocols*
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program*
- Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required*
- Current California Radiologic Technologist license required*
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required*
- ACLS certification preferred*
- Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience required*
- At least 1 year of scrubbing experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional setting required
- Experience working in high-volume cardiac catheterization laboratories*
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and interventional procedures*
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced procedural environments*
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills*
- Strong attention to patient safety and radiation protection practices
- Work in a modern cardiac cath lab with advanced imaging technology*
