Full-Time X-Ray Technologist Near Palm Springs, CA
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a respected outpatient orthopedic clinic in Palm Springs, California, to hire a Full-Time X-Ray Technologist. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled imaging professional seeking a stable MondayFriday schedule with no weekends, working in a patient-focused outpatient setting.
Position Overview The X-Ray Technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic environment. This role requires strong technical ability, patient care skills, and attention to detail to support accurate diagnoses and optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures following physician orders and established protocols*
- Prepare and position patients correctly to obtain clear and accurate images*
- Operate radiologic equipment safely and efficiently*
- Ensure radiation safety standards are strictly followed for patients and staff*
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation*
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care plans*
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure a positive patient experience*
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging equipment and exam rooms
Education & Certification Requirements
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or related field*
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required*
- Active California Radiologic Technologist license required*
- CPR/BLS certification required*
- Previous experience in orthopedic or outpatient imaging preferred*
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
