Emergency Room (ER) or Medical/Surgical nursing experience is preferred.Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients.*
• Assess patient conditions and communicate changes to physicians and other healthcare professionals.*
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.*
• Calculate medication doses, percentages, area, circumference, and volume accurately.*
• Monitor vital signs, patient responses, and changes in clinical condition.*
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.*
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the electronic medical record.*
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technicians, and other members of the healthcare team.*
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, medications, procedures, and discharge instructions.*
• Follow infection-control practices, patient-safety standards, and facility policies.*
• Respond appropriately to urgent and changing patient-care needs.*
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and excellent bedside manner.*
• Successfully learn and utilize electronic medical records (EMR) and online educational systems.*
• Maintain required certifications, competencies, and professional licensure.

Education & Certification Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.*
• Current Registered Professional Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Idaho.*
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.*
• ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications are required as applicable to the position and facility requirements.*
• One year of Emergency Room (ER) or Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred.*
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.*
• Demonstrated mathematical skills necessary for medication administration and clinical calculations.*
• Computer proficiency and the ability to learn and use EMR systems and online educational modules.
