Job Description
Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health - Ozark, AL Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a respected Behavioral Health team in Ozark, Alabama. This is a full-time opportunity to work with a mission-driven facility committed to delivering exceptional mental and behavioral health services to individuals in need.Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting*
- Monitor, assess, and document patient progress, symptoms, and responses to treatment*
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers*
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement personalized care plans*
- Respond to crisis situations using appropriate de-escalation techniques*
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatments, and community resources*
- Ensure compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards
- Active RN license in the state of Alabama (or compact license)*
- Current BLS certification (AHA)*
- Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience preferred*
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills*
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations
