Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Belle Fourche, SD
Connected Health Care, a top-tier recruitment and staffing firm, is currently partnered with a respected healthcare provider in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, to find a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Position Overview:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, youll assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to create customized treatment plans and deliver patient-focused care.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients of varying ages
Provide therapy to address speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders
Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nursing staff
Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on home programs and therapy techniques
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
Participate in care planning meetings and quality improvement initiatives
Stay current with best practices and emerging research in speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Licensure & Certifications:
Current South Dakota SLP license or ability to obtain
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA required
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Experience:
Previous experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical reasoning skills
