Full Time Staff Pharmacist- 5x8s- Chadron, NebraskaSign On Bonus Available Connected Health Care, a leading healthcare recruitment and staffing firm, is currently partnering with a respected healthcare facility in Chadron, Nebraska to hire a Full-Time Staff Pharmacist. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated pharmacy professional to play a vital role in ensuring safe and effective medication therapy while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and a commitment to providing high-quality pharmaceutical care in a collaborative healthcare environment.Job Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and verify prescription medications in accordance with physician orders and pharmacy regulations*
- Review medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions*
- Provide clinical consultation and medication guidance to physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff*
- Ensure safe medication practices by following established pharmacy protocols and regulatory standards*
- Monitor patient medication therapies and recommend adjustments when appropriate*
- Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and proper storage when applicable*
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation for medication dispensing and inventory*
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow*
- Participate in medication safety initiatives, quality improvement programs, and regulatory compliance activities*
- Assist with pharmacy inventory management, medication ordering, and controlled substance monitoring
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school or college of pharmacy
- Active Pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure in the state of Nebraska*
- Successful completion of the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX)*
- Basic Life Support certification
- Previous experience working as a pharmacist in a hospital, clinical, or retail pharmacy setting*
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication safety, and pharmaceutical regulations*
- Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams*
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities*
