Full-Time Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) West of Albuquerque, NM Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking a Full-Time Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for one of our valued healthcare partners near Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled imaging professional looking to advance their career in a supportive clinical environment while enjoying the natural beauty and unique culture of western New Mexico.Position Overview The Ultrasound Technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accuracy in imaging results. This role requires experience across multiple specialties and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and breast imaging*
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety*
- Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings for optimal image quality*
- Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians*
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation*
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control standards*
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality care*
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions
- Obstetric (OB) Ultrasound*
- General Ultrasound*
- Vascular Ultrasound*
- Breast Ultrasound
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field*
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required*
- ARRT (Sonography) certification accepted if applicable*
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required*
- Minimum of 12 years of recent ultrasound experience preferred
