Job Description

Full-Time X-Ray Technician – Salinas, California

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a skilled Full-Time X-Ray Technician to join our partner hospital in Salinas, CA. Job Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.

  • Operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment safely and effectively.

  • Ensure accurate positioning of patients to obtain optimal imaging results.

  • Maintain accurate records in the EMR system (Meditech; transitioning to Epic).

  • Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control policies.

  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care.

Education & Certification Requirements

  • California State Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) License (Required)

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) – Radiography (R) Certification (Required)

  • California Fluoroscopy License (Required)

Experience Requirements

  • Prior X-ray technologist experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred

  • Strong communication and patient care skills

  • EMR experience (Meditech preferred; Epic transition experience a plus)
