Oversee and manage the preparation and review of corporate federal and state income tax returns and estimates, and coordinate audits with external tax consultants.2. Lead the ASC 740 process including the calculation of the effective tax rate, tax balances, and documentation of uncertain tax positions.3. Monitor and analyze proposed and newly enacted tax legislation and regulations and communicate relevant information to stakeholders.4. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.5. Manage members of the tax team as they prepare components of the company's US federal income tax return and state tax returns.6. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.7. Assist with internal control functions related to taxes and liaise with internal and external auditors.8. Provide internal tax advisory services and support on business transaction and tax issues.9. Manage and facilitate IRS income tax audits: preparing responses, creating schedules, etc.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree in taxation or CPA is preferred.2. Minimum of 5+ years of progressive tax experience with a focus on corporate tax and ASC 740.3. Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and compliance.4. Experience with tax software and research solutions.5. Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.6. Strong leadership and personnel management skills.7. Ability to analyze complex tax issues and identify solutions.8. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and deadlines.10. Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.11.
