Job Posting - Pigtail Saw Operator

HM Richards is a financially stable, 28-year-old upholstery and furniture manufacturing company focused on expansion. Our company mission is to make beautiful furniture while constantly reducing our environmental footprint by using planet friendly materials and processes.

We currently have an opening for a Panel Saw/ Multi Rip Operator in our Guntown, MS location.

Summary:

Operates pigtail saw to cut different lengths of sticks to be used in the production of furniture.

What you will be doing:

Review schedule at the beginning of each day to see which styles have to be cut for the day.
Organizes schedule to make workflow easier.
Operates radial arm saw to cut pieces for production, also uses a wrench and a hammer to adjust saw when needed.
Stacks woos neatly near saw for pickup. Parts are then taken to the next operator.
Performs other duties as required by supervisor.

What we are looking for:

Knowledge about assembly line type environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to submit to a Drug test and background investigation
