Our Company
Cashman Nursery is a family-owned nursery, design and build landscape business based in the heart of Gallatin Valley with over 40 years' experience beautifying Southwest Montana. Our customers vary from individuals buying seeds, flowers and shrubs to residential and commercial landscape projects.
Seasonal work typically begins in early April and ends in early November. Cashman Nursery employs approximately 25 full time seasonal workers with many working with Cashman's for 10 or more seasons.

We are looking for a Garden Center Sales to be part of our team for the 2026 season!
Compensation: $19 per hour and up depending on experience and initiative! Opportunity for overtime pay!
Job duties include:
- Assists customers in selection of trees, shrubs, bedding plants, houseplants, mulches, insecticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and related garden center items
- Write up and ring up job orders
- Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise
- Perform stocking duties in store and nursery area as needed
- Assist with plant care and watering
- Keep store and outside area neat and clean
- Assist customers in loading plant materials as well as bagged materials
- Nursery retail sales experience a plus!
Looking for someone who has:
- A positive, team player attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of plants (Trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, houseplants) a bonus!

Schedule
Full time work generally working 5 days a week March to November (Weather dependent). Part time generally working 3 or 4 days a week March to September. Retail nursery open 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 7 days a week for most of the season. Working weekends required a Saturday and/or Sunday.
