Overview
Job Description
- Safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems, including wearing Self Contained Breathing Apparatus’ and Chemical Resistant PPE.
- Handling and change-out of gas and chemical containers.
- Understand how the mechanical portion of the equipment works, identify individual components included in each assembly, and perform non-invasive preventive maintenance.
- Perform daily rounds, including verifying purifier set points, recording readings, calibrating analytical equipment, completing safety surveys, monitoring inventory levels, and verifying monitoring systems.
- Primary communication point to the customer.
- Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience in a semiconductor, chemical, or other manufacturing setting
- Ability to achieve a basic knowledge of Quality Management.
- Communicate effectively using written and verbal skills.
- Understanding of safe work practices and experience in lockout/tagout
