Job Description
Job Title: Gas Engineer Location: Denver, Colorado Type: 12 month Contract Compensation: $36.00 Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote Hours: 40.0 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Supports the planning, design, and execution of gas infrastructure projects.
- This role involves project scoping, engineering design, cost estimating, regulatory compliance, and construction support for new and replacement pipeline assets.
- Works closely with Project Management, Operations, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with 49 CFR Part 192 and internal company standards.
- Update project tracking list with current project status.
- Prepare design drawings and service spreadsheets.
- Research existing asset information.
- Prepare and/or review operating procedures.
- Prepare project Stage Gate documentation.
- Attend meetings: Project CFT’s, trainings, staff meetings, coordination meetings, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD programs
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
