Gastroenterologist
Location: New York, NYPosition: Full-TimeSalary: $400,000 per yearSchedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Role Summary
This position provides physician-led evaluation and treatment of gastrointestinal conditions in an outpatient-focused setting. The Gastroenterologist will diagnose disorders of the digestive system, perform endoscopic procedures, and guide patients through clear treatment plans that support long-term GI health.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat diseases of the gastrointestinal tract
- Perform colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and related procedures
- Review diagnostic tests, pathology, and imaging results
- Develop and manage patient-specific treatment plans
- Coordinate care with referring physicians and care teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active or eligible New York State medical license
- Experience with outpatient GI procedures
