Job Description

Job Title: Gastroenterologist (Board Certified/Eligible) - Portsmouth, RIOverview: StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with a physician-led gastroenterology organization in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, to recruit a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist. This employed position offers a unique opportunity within an advanced independent practice model, supported by a strong national infrastructure, substantial referral demand, and operational resources designed to allow physicians to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. The role provides a collaborative, physician-led environment with significant professional growth potential and community engagement.Required Skills:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology*
Ability to provide comprehensive clinical care across both clinic and hospital settings*
Strong communication and collaborative skills*
Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

Preferred Education and Experience:

Completion of fellowship in Gastroenterology*
Prior experience in a similar practice setting preferred but not mandatory

Other Requirements:

Must hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Rhode Island*
Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance negotiable*
Must be able to share call responsibilities*
All applicable licenses and certifications

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range: $450,000 - $700,000 annually*
