Overview
Job Description
- Monitor and operate the entrance gate, controlling entry and exit of employees and visitors.
- Check credentials, issue passes, and direct guests to areas within the reserve.
- Maintain visitor logs and check in campers, tubers, and other guests.
- Collect fees and manage reservations for campsites, pavilions, and tubing Provide friendly customer service and answer phone or email inquiries.
- Inspect vehicles for unauthorized items and ensure no property is removed without permission.
- Assist with general grounds and facility maintenance, including mowing and basic upkeep.
- Maintain and monitor equipment, report issues, and perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be 16 or older.
- Must be willing to work odd and irregular hours, including weekends.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license and insurable driving record according to Tribal insurance guidelines.
- Must successfully pass the required criminal and character background check.
- Ability to travel and participate in required training, leadership development, and other events
- Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of this position adequately and successfully
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions while maintaining safety standards.
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks reliably.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow policies and procedures.
