Job Description
Indent :PSL210369_1-75-1Role : GCP DevOps Lead/EnggLocation : Austin, TX (Hybrid 4 days' work from client office, Mon-Thr)Rate : $70/hr – $72/hrContract to Hire
- Detailed JD:Designs, builds, and maintains scalable, secure infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform while optimizing for performance and cost. They automate software delivery through CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform. Key roles include enhancing service reliability and accelerating deployment speeds.
- Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure & Automation: Use Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Ansible to automate provisioning of GCP resources (VPC, VMs, IAM).
- CI/CD Implementation: Build and maintain automated build/deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Cloud Build.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Manage containerized applications using Docker and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Monitoring & Reliability: Monitor production systems for performance using Google Cloud Monitoring and Logging to ensure high availability.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce GCP security protocols, IAM roles, and networking policies.
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5 to 8 yrs strong hands-on experience in GCP DevOps
- Should have delivered atleast 3 to 4 production project using GCP DevOps
- GCP Proficiency: Strong experience with Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.
- Scripting & Programming: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation.
- IaC Tools: Expert knowledge of Terraform.
- DevOps Tools: Expertise in Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools.
- Communication: Strong collaboration skills to work with development and infrastructure teams.
