Oversee sustaining engineering tasks and work closely with manufacturing on the integration of new and existing GCS assemblies and sub-assemblies.
  • Oversee and lead engineering change management and Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities, including development and execution of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), aligning technical scope, cost estimates (BOE/ROM), supplier impacts, and implementation strategies. Brief change packages to internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with program and customer personnel, as necessary.
  • Manage obsolescence and DMSMS (Diminishing Manufacturing Sources & Material Shortages) initiatives, qualifying replacement components with suppliers and supply chain organizations to ensure long-term system availability.
  • Direct proposal development activities and provide Cost Account Management (CAM) oversight, including cost estimating, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development, resource allocation, EVMS reporting, cost, and schedule tracking (SPI/CPI), risk identification, and mitigation planning for assigned work packages.
  • Apply Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) management methodologies to proactively identify and mitigate technical, schedule, and cost risks across multiple programs. Resolve complex technical field issues across government and international customers, coordinating with engineering teams, suppliers, and field operators to deliver timely solutions.
  • Deliver high-level technical presentations such as PDRs, CDRs, and program reviews to internal leadership and external customers. Interact with Program Management, IPTLs, CVEs, Manufacturing, Quality, and customer personnel to review or define project requirements, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD/NATO acquisition requirements, security protocols, and export regulations (ITAR/EAR). Build and maintain customer confidence through collaborative execution, effective communication, and delivery of high-quality technical solutions.
