Job Description
Summary:
- Work Mode: Onsite
- The typical working hours for this role are 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Overtime hours may be available or required according to business needs and within the parameters of any applicable federal/state laws.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble components according to blueprints, routers, work orders, checklists, and specifications to build, assemble, and test parts and finished goods that meet quality standards in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Accurately complete assembly checklists.
- Monitor stock bins in work area and report stock needs to Shop Floor Lead(s).
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures.
- Adhere to the company's Code of Conduct.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for 10 hours a day, with minimal breaks.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds independently or up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Vision abilities include close and distance vision, color distinction, and the ability to observe small handwriting, labels, and components.
- Must wear steel-toed shoes and safety glasses at all times.
- Hearing protection required in designated areas.
- On-site presence required during scheduled shift to perform daily duties and responsibilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to work effectively unsupervised.
- Strategic and creative thinking to analyze issues and create solutions.
- Ability to respond positively to feedback and implement changes in processes and procedures as needed.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret drawings, BOMs, and procedures.
Work Environment:
- The employee will normally work on the production shop floor that does not have controlled temperatures and will vary based on weather conditions.
- Occasionally exposed to fumes and minimal to moderate noise.
