Location: Elgin, SC | Schedule: 4-Day Week | First Shift
We’re Hiring: General Grinding Technician
Do you enjoy precision work, operating machinery, and producing high-quality components?
AMBAC International is hiring General Grinding Technicians to join our employee-owned manufacturing team in Elgin, SC. In this role, you’ll operate grinding equipment used to restore and manufacture precision fuel injection components for heavy-duty diesel engines serving agriculture, transportation, industrial, and defense industries.
Whether you have manufacturing experience or are eager to learn, we provide hands-on training and opportunities to build a long-term career.

What You’ll Do
- Operate grinding equipment to machine components to precise specifications
- Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools
- Follow work instructions and quality standards to ensure accuracy
- Identify defects, wear, or inconsistencies in components
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, organized condition
- Support production goals while maintaining safety and quality expectations
What You Bring
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Comfortable working with machinery and precision measurement tools
- Manufacturing, machining, grinding, or industrial experience preferred but not required
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
