We are looking for summer seasonal staff to fill a number of roles in the following categories on our 10,600 acre property: Outdoor Recreation, Management, Adventure Sports, Outdoor Education, River Guiding, Hospitality Services, Emergency Operations, Administration, Logistics, Media/Marketing

The Summit is Scouting America's newest outdoor adventure center in the heart of West Virginia's New River Gorge Region. Our staff assist in operations and programming that supports The Summit's Core Values: Sustainability, Leadership, Service, and Adventure.

Principle Responsibilities:

Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR Staff Handbook
Help facilitate program sessions, including arrival and departure day logistics
Any other duties as assigned by SBR leadership

Qualifications & Training:

18 Years old or older by start of employment
Be or become a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America

Physical Requirements:

Must meet the Summit Bechtel Reserve's high adventure height/weight requirements as laid out in the Summit BSA Health & Medical Record

Uniform:

Summit Staff Uniform
Shorts/Pants should be of the appropriate length/size/appropriateness for a Scouting setting.
Closed-toe shoes

Housing:

10x12' Platform Tent; Foxtrot Base Camp Staff Area
