Job Description
HireCall is seeking a General Labor for a great company in Owasso!
Schedule: Full-Time, First ShiftHours: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience
About the Position
Seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow a career in manufacturing. We are willing to train candidates with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn.
This position supports multiple areas of the shop, including material preparation, precision finishing, and basic machining operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate horizontal band saws (HEM saws) to cut raw material to specified lengths
- Perform honing operations following work instructions
- Operate manual shop equipment and basic machine tools
- Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and job travelers
- Measure parts using basic inspection tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the shop
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist other departments as needed to meet production schedules
- Follow all quality and safety procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing or machine shop experience is a plus but not required
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to safely use hand tools and basic measuring equipment
- Basic computer skills for viewing electronic work instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to safely handle raw materials and finished parts
