Position Overview: Mosquito Joe is your solution to make outside fun again. We provide outdoor pest control services to residential and commercial customers. Mosquito Joe is located in Virginia Beach, VA, and is part of the Neighborly family, headquartered in Waco, Texas. If you’re an organized, motivated self-starter looking for a position that will offer you professional growth in a range of areas, this could be the ideal job for you. We are currently seeking a seasonal Mosquito Control Technician to provide mosquito control services to residential and commercial customers, eliminating and repelling outdoor pests such as mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks.
Field Service Technicians Responsibilities:
- Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks and other outdoor pests
- Complete pesticide training and certification (after our training course you will receive an MDA Technician Certification card)
- Able to walk customer property while carrying equipment weight over 60 lbs. for long periods of time in warm temperatures
- Safely, and in accordance with all traffic laws, drive the "Mojo Trucks" to customers properties
Field Service Technician Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license
- Good customer service skills
- Possess good time management skills
- Able to follow directions
Education and Experience: Education: High school diploma or GED required
Experience:
- One (1) year or more of experience preferred
- Licenses/Certification: Registered Pesticide Technicians license preferred
