General Labor (Crate Builder)Pay: $14.00 per hourLocation: Tulsa, OK 74116Shift: Day Shift (hours may vary)Job Type: Temp-to-HireJOB ID: 124163Position OverviewThe General Labor (Crate Builder) is responsible for building and assembling wooden crates used for shipping and storage. This General Labor (Crate Builder) role involves measuring, cutting, and assembling materials while ensuring durability and quality standards are met. The ideal General Labor (Crate Builder) is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with tools in a fast-paced environment.Required Experience & Skills Experience using hand and power tools preferred Basic math and measurement skills Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to follow instructions and work independently Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work in a warehouse or shop environmentEssential Duties & Responsibilities Build, assemble, and repair wooden crates, pallets, and skids Measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools Read and follow blueprints, job orders, or specifications Ensure crates meet quality, safety, and durability standards Secure products properly to prevent damage during transport Operate tools such as saws, nail guns, drills, and staple guns Inspect finished crates for accuracy and structural integrity Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines Work collaboratively with production and shipping teamsPhysical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly Ability to work in a physically demanding environmentWork Environment Warehouse or manufacturing setting Exposure to noise, wood dust, and tools Fast-paced, hands-on production environmentPreferred Experience Previous experience as a crate builder, carpenter, or general laborer Knowledge of wood materials and fasteners Ability to read blueprints or schematics Forklift experience a plus BilingualJob Order124163
