General Labor (Crate Builder)Pay:$14.00 per hourLocation:Tulsa, OK 74116Shift:Day Shift (Hours May Vary)Job Type:Temp-to-HireJob Order #:125590Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable General Labor (Crate Builder) to join a growing manufacturing team in Tulsa. This position is responsible for building and assembling wooden crates, pallets, and skids used for shipping and storage while ensuring each product meets quality and durability standards.The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, is comfortable using hand and power tools, and takes pride in producing quality craftsmanship in a fast-paced shop environment.Required Experience & Skills Previous experience using hand and power tools preferred Basic math and measurement skills Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to follow instructions and work independently Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Comfortable working in a warehouse or manufacturing environmentEssential Duties & Responsibilities Build, assemble, and repair wooden crates, pallets, and skids Measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools Read and follow blueprints, job orders, and work specifications Ensure completed crates meet quality, safety, and durability standards Secure products properly to prevent damage during shipping and storage Operate saws, nail guns, drills, staple guns, and other shop equipment safely Inspect completed crates for structural integrity and accuracy Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures Work closely with production and shipping teams to meet daily goalsPreferred Qualifications Previous experience as a crate builder, carpenter, or general laborer Knowledge of wood materials, fasteners, and construction methods Ability to read blueprints or schematics Forklift experience is a plus Bilingual candidates are encouraged to applyPhysical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly Comfortable working in a physically demanding environmentWork Environment Warehouse or manufacturing facility Exposure to wood dust, noise, and power tools Fast-paced, hands-on production environment Safety-focused workplace requiring the use of appropriate PPEWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive starting pay Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Hands-on work with opportunities to develop carpentry and production skills Team-oriented manufacturing environment Stable employer with opportunities for growthReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PM
