Job Description
GPS is hiring General Laborers for a manufacturing facility in Walterboro, SC!Why Apply:
- Starting pay: $15.00/hr.
- 1st Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
- Benefits offered after hire, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), accrued personal and vacation leave, and a 401 (k) with a 3% company match.
- Assist with general labor tasks on the packing line
- Staple and tape boxes
- Assist with shrink-wrapping pallets and attaching shipping labels.
- Occasionally work in the sorting department
- Operate machinery to load 25 lb. or 50 lb. boxes
- Ability to continuously lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to engage in walking, bending, standing, lifting, and stooping activities consistently throughout the shift.
- Stable, reliable work history
- Willingness to learn new skills and cross-train
- Prior forklift experience is beneficial but not required
- A drug-free workplace
- A criminal background check is required
