Job Description
Hamilton by Gunnebo is looking for a General Laborer to work in our Welding department for 1st shift, the hours are 6:00am to 4:30pm.
Pay is based on experience with a range of $19 to $21 per hour
What You Will Do
- Complete final inspection on units,
- Apply correct labels to packaged items.
- Complete Boxing and banding activities.
- Prepare form holders.
- Participate in Lean activities
- Other duties as assigned to ensure the department doesn't develop a bottle neck.
- Perform work in a manner that complies with the company safety policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment, with previous packaging experience to prepare product for shipping,
- Mechanical experience or aptitude.
- Experience with hand tools.
- Understanding of Lean Concepts
- Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to perform most work while standing at floor level.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands.
- Self-motivated.
