Job Description
Primary Purpose
This position will support the Controller and perform month-end close, daily and weekly reporting, administer the Project Costing system, capital expenditure request (CER) set-ups, account reconciliations, budgeting and maintaining general ledger accuracy and visibility to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Completes month-end close functions including Journal entries and publishing month-end reports as well as account reconciliations. Prepares ad-hoc reporting as needed. Assists with month-end reporting and tracking commodity inventory.
- Maintains and supports Project Costing to include user support and assistance as needed.
- Schedules and prepares monthly cost reviews for customer visibility of details.
- Continues to learn about industry-developing competency and commitment.
- Promotes and maintains a safe and secure work environment in accordance with Mountaire policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2 - 3 years' experience in a related field.
- Proficient in Excel and the ability to learn new systems.
- Demonstrated presentation skills.
