Job Description Summary

This Role is at the Federal Courthouse - 101 N. 5th St, Muskogee, OK.

The role pays base pay plus a hourly benefit allowance.

General Maintenance Mechanics assist tradesmen in the proper operation, maintenance and repair of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. General Maintenance Mechanics self-perform general maintenance duties such as; light plumbing, light carpentry, painting, and general occupant requests.

Job Description

• Perform building maintenance activities such as replacing or repairing ceilings, flooring, walls, bathroom fixtures and other general building maintenance activities
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems as directed by supervisor or other technical resources
• Respond to all occupant service requests and troubleshoots to meet the operational and comfort needs of the building(s) occupants
• Work with vendors (i.e., plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians) in evaluating the proper operation of the building systems
• Maintains records for inventory of repair supplies and materials; prepares materials requisitions for approval by supervisor as replacement needs dictate
• Effectively communicate in a positive, proactive manner with all team members, customers, and vendors; demonstrate

• Maintain a professional, safe and clean environment

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $19.53 - $22.98
